Do you want to help create Sweden's best customer experience? We are now looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates for the delicatessen and fish counter at Coop Väst!
As a Sales Associate in the delicatessen and fish counter at Coop Eriksberg, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the store and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store environment.
We are looking for you who are service-oriented, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong desire to learn and develop in your role.
Main responsibilities
- Staffing the delicatessen and fish counter
- Ensure we always have an inspiring and sales-driven fish counter
- Open and close the fish counter
Other duties may include:
- Restocking and fronting of goods
- Handle complaints and claims according to routines
- Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
- Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
- Follow loss prevention and shrinkage routines
- Contribute to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:
- Product orders
- Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
- Price tagging and campaign signage
- Price changes
The position is a permanent employment of 32 hours/week with start date as agreed. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours vary but are mostly scheduled during daytime. We apply a probation period.

- Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required
- You must be 18 years old as we have certain machinery with age restrictions
- Experience from working as a cook or bartender is highly meritorious
- Experience from working with recipes and calculations is highly meritorious
- Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
