The Clinic for Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine is part of the Medicine division. The department consists of inpatient care in Falun and outpatient care in Falun and Borlänge, with a total of approximately 135 employees at the clinic.

The position is located in Borlänge at Geriatrics and Outpatient Rehabilitation, Borlänge Hospital. We provide specialized rehabilitation in the home or at the clinic. We are a multidisciplinary team that, with a person-centered approach, conducts memory investigations, neurological rehabilitation, stroke follow-ups/rehabilitation, and specialized home rehabilitation to enable early discharges from inpatient care. The team works closely together, creating a cohesive group that supports each other and fosters a strong desire to do their best for patients and colleagues.

Your duties as a medical secretary include healthcare documentation for both inpatient and outpatient care.

• Patient booking
• Managing time registers
• Cash handling
• Supporting the department with other administrative tasks

The position is primarily located in Borlänge, but working with the clinic's units in Falun is a natural part of the role, and you may occasionally need to be present in Falun. There are a total of 7 medical secretaries at the clinic.

We are looking for you who have one of the following educations:

• Medical Secretary Program (120 hp)
• Healthcare Administration Program (180 hp)
• Medical Secretary Vocational Education (400 credits)
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education

Meritorious:

• Experience with Cosmic
• Experience working in BILD
• Experience with document management
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
