What does the role offer?

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have a central role in the business where you are responsible for leading and driving projects from idea and business need to established production. You will be the link between several key functions and work closely with development, production, quality, purchasing, marketing, and management to ensure that projects are executed according to set goals for quality, time, and cost.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Receiving and quality-assuring projects from the market and other parts of the business, and leading them through the entire implementation phase
• Planning, leading, and driving projects through the entire implementation phase
• Ensuring that solutions are ready for production according to defined requirements
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and creating momentum in projects
• Managing risks, priorities, and dependencies
• Building decision support and business cases for future initiatives
• Contributing to the development of working methods, processes, and project governance
• Ensuring a smooth transition from project to production

This is a role for you who wants to be close to the operations. You are expected not only to plan and follow up on projects but also to contribute operationally when needed to get things done.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who is an experienced project manager with experience driving complex projects in a manufacturing or technically oriented environment.

You likely have experience from, for example, the manufacturing industry, process industry, food, medtech, or automotive industry, and are accustomed to navigating between different stakeholders and functions.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in project management in complex businesses
• Experience driving projects from business or development phase to production
• Good understanding of production processes and business development
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to create structure even when all processes are not fully defined
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have an engineering degree, preferably in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.

As a person, you are secure, structured, and unpretentious. You have natural gravitas and create trust around you without needing to take the largest place in the room. You get people to collaborate, build relationships, and have a pedagogical ability that allows you to create understanding and engagement in different parts of the organization.
