About the Role
Do you want to be part of the green transition and work on projects that contribute to a more sustainable and energy-efficient society? At Academic Work, we are currently seeking a Project Manager for a major company in the energy sector. The role offers flexibility to work either from the company's office in Kungsbacka or in Bohuslän.
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to the power grid. You ensure that work proceeds according to plan and budget, while maintaining close dialogue with contractors, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders. The role also involves site visits where you monitor projects and ensure that occupational health and environmental requirements are met.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in other locations who support you with parts of the process, such as handling inquiries and administrative tasks. To thrive in this role, we see that you are a results-oriented person who enjoys driving projects forward. You have the ability to work independently while also acting as the central hub between suppliers, customers, and contractors.

Responsibilities
- Drive power grid projects from planning to execution
- Maintain schedules and budgets for your projects
- Act as the central hub in contacts with customers, landowners, suppliers, and contractors
- Conduct site visits to monitor occupational health and environmental requirements
We are looking for someone who
- Has completed post-secondary education in electricity, electrical power, civil engineering, or another relevant field
- Has experience planning your work and feels comfortable taking responsibility for completing tasks or smaller projects
- Thrives in an independent role with extensive contact networks
- Is computer literate and experienced in working with the Office package
- Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Has a Category B driver's license and access to a car, as travel is involved in the work
