As an Electrical Engineer with us, you will play a central role in designing, adapting, and further developing products based on customer orders. Our customers are primarily within the defense industry, which places high demands on quality, safety, and precision. Our goal is to deliver the highest possible quality and functionality. With short decision-making paths and a genuine focus on collaboration, responsibility, and care, we create a work environment characterized by cohesion and engagement.

About the role

In R&D, we offer a varied work life with a main focus on product development, both in customer projects and with our own developed products. We develop our products from idea, through design and construction, to prototype manufacturing and small series in our own workshop or with the help of subcontractors. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional team together with colleagues within mechanics, mechatronics, and testing. We collaborate closely with our production department to create the best conditions for delivering intelligently designed products ready for production.

In the department, we are also responsible for testing and verification of our products, as well as conducting trials and technical evaluations to explore new solutions and ensure that our products meet high demands on quality and performance.

We are looking for you who have

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least a couple of years of experience in the role of Electrical Engineer
• Experience with electrical CAD, e.g., Altium Designer
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as very good knowledge of English, are required for employment.

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience in programming, preferably embedded in C or Python
• Experience with optical systems
• Software skills in MATLAB or Zemax
• Experience with network solutions
• Experience in Testing and Verification
• Workshop experience, e.g., soldering, troubleshooting, etc. (Prototypes & small series)
• Experience with CE marking
• Experience with military service, e.g., conscription

Since our products often involve several technical areas, we consider it meritorious if you have the ability to look beyond your own main field and take on tasks in adjacent technical areas.
