About the role

You will work together with production management, production technicians, and operators with the goal of developing efficient and sustainable manufacturing.

The duration and content of assignments vary depending on the customer's needs. The work is primarily performed at the customer's site, which means that weekly commuting, daily commuting, and/or remote work may occur, depending on where you live and what suits the customer best. The assignments will primarily be located in Southern Sweden.

You should be prepared to stay overnight away from home during certain periods (3 weeks to 6 months) on weekdays. Accommodation is arranged by the customer, and mileage reimbursement and per diems are paid according to current regulations.

Education and Competence

• University degree in Engineering or University College Diploma (YH) in a relevant field.
• Experience as a production technician or team leader in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage:

• Method studies (SAM, AVIX, PROKON, or other methods).
• Assembly work, welding, and/or painting.
• Project management and development of production processes/flows.
• Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Personality

You are interested, analytical, and take the initiative to solve problems. Additionally, it is important that you are structured, responsible, and able to plan and prioritize your work.

Since the work involves extensive report writing and documentation in Swedish, it is crucial that your language level is very good and that you enjoy expressing yourself in writing. The role involves many contact points at various levels within our customers' organizations, so strong communication skills are essential.

The Ideal Candidate

We believe you are at a stage where you want to grow into the role of a production technology consultant and have your sights set on long-term development with us. You likely have a practical background from the industry combined with further education or a recently awakened interest in new areas of responsibility.

We are looking for someone who wants to learn our working methods from the ground up and is free of ego when it comes to the tasks required to create real value for the customer. At Prokon, we are both flexible and resilient; we expect you to have the patience to conduct in-depth and sometimes routine analyses that require more than what the customer's own staff can handle.

You must have a valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car. We recruit continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
