About the Role

We are now looking for an experienced embedded developer who wants to be part of our team in Gothenburg. This role is suitable for you if you thrive close to the technology, are confident in your working methods, and want to work on the development of embedded systems in varied and technically challenging environments.

As part of Consat Digital Solutions, you will work with embedded software development in various forms. You may participate in internal projects at our office on Lindholmen or work on-site with our customers in the Gothenburg area.

Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise while becoming a key part of strengthening our offering within embedded systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and development of embedded systems for various applications

• Programming in C or C++ as well as other relevant languages depending on the project

• Testing, debugging, and bug fixing

• Code optimization with a focus on performance, stability, and resource usage

• Work close to hardware, electronics, and system-level software

• Documentation and use of version control systems

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded development in C or C++

• Relevant education in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent experience

• Experience with Linux, RTOS, or other system-level development environments

• Understanding of hardware-near development, such as sensors, actuators, or communication interfaces

• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, or similar

• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience with technical decision-making, architecture, or technical leadership within embedded development.

Location

The role is linked to our office on Lindholmen and to our customers in the Gothenburg area. Therefore, we see that you have your base in Gothenburg or the surrounding area.
