About the role

As a consultant with us, you work closely with the customer to create clear improvements and drive the business forward. The assignments are broad – from leading IT and digitalization projects throughout the entire lifecycle, to analyzing and translating business needs into clear requirements, or supporting management teams with structure, priorities, and decision support. Depending on the assignment, you may work on a single project, a sub-project, or take responsibility for a larger program – at both strategic and operational levels.

You meet customers in several industries in the Gothenburg area, such as automotive, defense industry, and life science, which provides variety, new contexts, and the opportunity to contribute to the customers' digital development. The work takes place on-site at the customer, in Nexer's premises, and remotely in a flexible combination.

We are looking for you who:

Thrives in a consultant role and appreciates varied work in different environments and industries. You are driven by combining responsibility with relationship building and good business understanding. As a person, you are engaged, goal-oriented, and confident in driving work and change forward – both independently and together with others. You create clarity, build trust, and take initiative, whether you collaborate with project teams, steering groups, or management teams.

You have:

• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in project management, business development, requirements management/business analysis, or another area within IT management
• Experience working with both large and small assignments
• Leadership qualities
• Experience collaborating and communicating with steering groups, management teams, third-party suppliers, and technical teams
• Experience with both traditional and agile ways of working
• Relevant higher education
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in a consultant role
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, ITIL, SAFe, PROSCI, CCBA, CBAP, IREB, or equivalent
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and/or PLM
• Experience with AI-related solutions and the ability to specify requirements and evaluate AI solutions from a business perspective
