Backend Developer – Node.js & Azure

Consultant at Our Company

As a consultant with us, you have the security of a permanent employment contract while getting the chance to develop quickly through varied and exciting assignments. About the Assignment

We are now looking for experienced Backend Developers who want to help develop robust and modern backend solutions for business-critical digital services. As a Backend Developer, you will work in agile teams together with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps specialists. The focus is on developing and further developing microservices and APIs in a cloud-native environment based on Microsoft Azure.

You will contribute to the entire development process – from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services in Node.js
  • Build scalable microservices with NestJS
  • Design and implement REST APIs
  • Work with Azure Cloud services and container-based solutions
  • Ensure high code quality through testing and code reviews
  • Participate in CI/CD work and automated deployments
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams
  • Contribute to technical improvements and architectural decisions

We believe you have

  • At least 3 years of experience in backend development
  • Very good knowledge of Node.js
  • Experience with NestJS/Nest Framework or similar modern backend frameworks
  • Experience with REST API development
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Docker and container-based solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows
  • Good understanding of microservice architecture
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (both spoken and written)
  • University or civil engineering degree in computer science or similar

Meritorious

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Super Graph
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
