We also want to develop as an employer and actively work to make the best use of your knowledge and engagement. We appreciate and encourage participation from everyone.
Uddevalla Municipality is a beautiful place by the sea in the heart of Bohuslän. We believe in an open and positive interaction between the municipality, education, business, and culture.
We hope you will enjoy working with us!
Do you want to help build the future payroll and HR support for eight municipalities?
Uddevalla Municipality, together with seven other municipalities, is leading the implementation of a common system solution for payroll, scheduling, and staffing. This initiative includes both the introduction of new systems and the development of long-term forms of collaboration between the municipalities.
We are now looking for a Senior System Administrator who wants to take a key role in this work.
About the assignment
During the implementation phase, you will plan, coordinate, and follow up on the work with the common system solution. You will work closely with business developers, payroll managers, suppliers, and representatives from the participating municipalities.
After implementation, your focus will be to lead and develop the joint municipal system administration. You will be responsible for ensuring high data quality, uniform working methods, and well-functioning information management within areas such as payroll, employment, organization, scheduling, and staffing.
The role also involves developing the system solution in interaction with the municipalities' other system landscapes. You will act as a bridge between operations, decision support, HR controlling functions, system administration, and digital development.
The role has no formal personnel responsibility but entails extensive coordination responsibility between the collaborating municipalities.
Responsibilities
You will among other things:
- plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities within the implementation project
- lead and coordinate the joint municipal system administration
- develop common processes, working methods, and routines
- ensure good data quality and information structure
- work with concepts, definitions, code structures, and information models
- analyze system data and identify areas for improvement
- support the municipalities in questions regarding system usage and development
- collaborate with decision support, HR controlling functions, system administrators, and other specialist functions
- contribute to future digital development, integrations, and follow-up
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have at least a bachelor's degree (180 credits) in a relevant field, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
You have several years of experience in leading, coordinating, or coordinating business-related or system-related assignments where multiple stakeholders need to work towards common goals.
We would like you to have experience with:
- system administration, business development, or project management
- work at the intersection between operations, processes, and systems
- data quality, information management, or analysis work
- system implementation or change management
- collaboration between different organizations and operations
It is meritorious if you have experience with payroll, HR, scheduling, or staffing systems, databases, information models, decision support, or municipal operations.
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, analytical, and collaborative. You are good at building trust, establishing relationships, and getting different actors to work towards common goals.
You are curious about how information, processes, and systems are connected and are driven by the desire to develop effective and sustainable working methods. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
What we offer
You will have the opportunity to work with one of the most extensive collaboration projects within municipal administration in the region and help develop the future joint payroll, scheduling, and staffing support.
