We are now looking for a Senior IT Consultant for the Gothenburg/Uddevalla area who wants to take responsibility for planning, implementing, and optimizing modern IT solutions for a leading Nordic provider of IT and business-oriented services.

About the role

As a consulting IT consultant, you will work independently and in leading roles in exciting IT projects where you combine technical expertise with customer-facing advisory services at our client's customers' sites. You are responsible for delivering advanced IT services within infrastructure and act as a key person and ambassador, helping customers implement, develop, and optimize modern IT solutions while building long-term relationships and contributing to their digital development. The role combines technical expertise, customer-facing delivery, and a professional approach with great opportunities to influence – focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and technical development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and further develop modern IT environments within networking, security, and IT infrastructure, including server platforms, hybrid, and cloud solutions.
• Contribute deep expertise in IT infrastructure (e.g., server platforms, networking, hybrid, and cloud solutions) and translate it into scalable and future-proof solutions.
• Act as a proactive and business-oriented advisor to the client, driving their digital development forward based on business goals.
• Identify and develop new ways of working where AI, automation, and data-driven insights strengthen the client's business and create concrete business value.
• Take responsibility for the implementation, further development, and optimization of technical solutions in close dialogue with the client.
• Ensure high quality through clear documentation and work according to best practices within security and IT delivery.
• Lead or contribute to projects with responsibility for quality, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Function as a mentor and knowledge sharer within the team and contribute to strong knowledge exchange.
• Build long-term customer relationships, be a key person in the delivery, and identify business opportunities through a consultative approach.
• Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to create sustainable, innovative solutions.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience as an IT consultant.
• Has competence in IT infrastructure (networking, servers, security, cloud, automation, AI).
• Has experience in customer-facing work in both projects and operations and thrives in leading technical activities and supporting colleagues as a mentor.
• Has certifications in relevant technologies/systems (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware).
• Has good knowledge of Windows Server, AD, networking, storage, backup, and cloud solutions.
• Is accustomed to using AI-based tools to streamline working methods.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.
