Are you an experienced freight forwarder with a good understanding of international transport, customs issues, and project logistics? We are now looking for a Project Freight Forwarder for a 12-month consulting assignment with one of our clients.

As a Project Freight Forwarder, you work with specific customer projects within new production and act as a sub-project manager for transport and logistics-related issues – from order initiation to final delivery to the customer.

Each project is unique and places different demands on delivery terms, destinations, customs handling, and logistical setups. You play a central role in ensuring that deliveries are carried out according to plan, with the right quality and cost control.

The work involves many contact points, both internally and externally, where you collaborate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal project teams.

• Responsible for transport and logistics issues within customer projects

• Act as a sub-project manager within forwarding and delivery

• Develop transport strategies adapted to each project

• Procure transport services and negotiate contracts

• Monitor budgets, costs, and delivery-related economics

• Coordinate contacts with customers, suppliers, and transport partners

• Ensure that transport and customs documents are drawn up correctly

• Handle and solve logistical challenges that arise during the projects

• Contribute to deliveries being made on time and according to customer requirements

• Has a relevant university education in logistics, supply chain, or similar, or alternatively several years of experience in forwarding, logistics, or import/export

• Has experience with international transport and customs handling

• Has a good understanding of transport purchasing, contracts, and delivery terms

• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

• Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Experience with SAP is an advantage

• Experience in project management or resource coordination is an advantage

• Additional language skills, such as German, Spanish, or Russian, are seen as a plus
