We are looking for you who want to make things happen so that young people with intellectual disabilities (ID) have a clear place in democracy.
We see that you are driven, structured, and can both lead the project's daily operations and inspire others to join in moving young people's position forward in society. You want to take a key role in our small and fast-paced team, and be part of our journey to make the biggest possible difference before the association is dissolved in 2030.
"All Voices Together" is a three-year Legacy Fund project that is now entering its second year. The project aims to strengthen young people's influence and inclusion in democracy – with a particular focus on young people with intellectual disabilities (ID).
The project builds on previously tested methods and focuses on developing, spreading, and anchoring inclusive working methods together with young people, which strengthen municipalities' ability to work with young people's democratic influence. Part of the project also involves highlighting young people's voices and experiences in the public debate.
The project is carried out in partnership with Ung i FUB and several municipalities.
Youth 2030 Movement is a non-profit association that brings together democracy activists, young leaders, child rights advocates, and allied adults.
We are looking for a project manager who can turn goals and ideas into concrete action, create engagement, and get people to move forward together. You see yourself primarily as part of the team at Youth 2030 Movement with a shared agenda, and secondarily as specifically responsible for one of our flagship projects and the deliverables associated with it.
As a project manager, you hold the project together and are responsible for planning, implementation, follow-up, and reporting. You keep the project's various parts, collaborations, and processes together and ensure that the work is driven forward with quality and structure.
You work closely with young participants, municipalities, and the project's partners, and coordinate the work together with a team of colleagues responsible for engaging young people, developing methods, and supporting communication around the project.
The role requires that you can switch between long-term change work and operational implementation. You have strong self-leadership and handle several tasks independently, while translating the organization's overall strategy and goals into concrete action in the project. You also represent the project externally and contribute to creating engagement for more inclusive democracy work.
Part of the job involves planning and carrying out activities together with young people, such as democracy camps and trips to arenas where young people's voices need to be heard. It may also involve supporting the production of an influence film, reporting to the Legacy Fund, coaching municipalities in their implementation work, or planning how the project's lessons can best be spread through conferences and networks.
You need to be able to travel regularly within Sweden, especially within Västra Götaland. Evening and weekend work occurs.
Main Responsibilities
- Project Management and Implementation: You coordinate the overall project, set direction, and are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up the project in line with set goals. You ensure structure, quality, and clarity, and are responsible for budget follow-up, documentation, and reporting according to the Legacy Fund's guidelines. You lead certain activities together with young people, coordinate local efforts, and ensure that things actually happen.
- Relationship Building and Collaboration: You build long-term relationships with municipalities, partners, and other key actors. You create conditions for collaboration, lead and coordinate the project's various groups, and get different actors to work towards common goals.
- Dissemination and Change: You create conditions for the project's working methods to be implemented in more municipalities, disseminate the project's results and lessons, and work to ensure that the methods become part of long-term structures.
- External Representation and Influence: You represent the project in meetings, networks, and public contexts, and contribute to creating engagement and understanding for young people's influence and inclusion.
- Analysis and Learning: You follow up, analyze, and visualize what we have learned, and ensure that experiences and results are documented and can be used further.

- Very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
- Experience working with young people in various contexts, preferably through co-creative working methods.
- Experience working inclusively, with a rights-based and norm-conscious approach.
- Can handle a high degree of self-leadership, with the ability to plan and drive work independently and, if necessary, contribute to several different projects simultaneously.
