The Department of Culture, Leisure and Technology is the municipality's third largest department. We are 180 employees with a broad area of responsibility covering property and projects, street and traffic, harbor, park and coast, facilities and swimming, open youth activities, association support, libraries, culture school, museums, public art, as well as consumer and budget counseling.

Klitterbadet, Falkenberg's swimming and fitness facility, is located a stone's throw from Skrea beach. Here you will meet many people and have a varied job that at times requires a high work pace. Klitterbadet offers visitors fitness swimming, swimming schools, group training, and a gym run in-house. During the summer, we open our outdoor pool in Vessigebro.

A decision has been made in Falkenberg to build a new swimming facility expected to be completed in 2029, and as an employee, you will play an important role in this work.

Today, we are 11 employees who together run Klitterbadet and Vessigebrobadet, and now we are looking for two new employees to join us.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bathhouse Manager, you will have a varied job where you perform various tasks such as lifeguarding, swimming instruction, water aerobics, work at the cash register and reception, as well as cleaning, among other things. You are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the bath guests.

The workplace uses a rotating schedule, which means that all moments are included in your tasks. You will have a role with both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues.

The position also involves regular evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a lifeguard certificate and swimming teacher certificate, or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent. It is meritorious if you have worked as an instructor for water-based group training.

The work involves a lot of customer contact and service, which requires that you as a person are service-oriented and have initiative by easily seeing and taking charge of what needs to be done. At the same time, you have a good ability to collaborate, thrive working in a team, and have good communication skills.

Your knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, must be good.

We place great importance on personal suitability and that you complement the rest of the work group.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Permanent position and fixed-term position (vacancy).

Duration: The recruitment concerns two positions. One permanent position and one fixed-term position, vacancy limited until 2026-12-31.
