The Department of Community Development, Culture and Public Health (SKF) is one of the broadest and most diversified departments in the country, comprising seven units (Fire and Rescue Service, Environmental Unit, Planning and Building Unit, Technical Unit, Meal Unit, Culture Unit, and Leisure Unit) as well as an Administrative Staff. We are now looking for Part-time Firefighters / RIB Firefighters (Reserve Firefighters) at Laholm Municipality for:

Laholm Fire Station (On-call duty every third week)

About the Position

Your work as a Part-time Firefighter/RIB Firefighter involves participating in training exercises and being on call every third week, from Friday to Friday, 24/7. The assignments vary and can range from fires and traffic accidents to providing first aid in medical emergencies. You will be part of a group where everyone has their defined roles.

As a newly hired Part-time Firefighter/RIB Firefighter, you will first be placed in a pool service. After the pool service, you will join the regular group as a Part-time Firefighter/RIB Firefighter.

Are you the one we are looking for?

When applying for the position in Laholm, you must both live and work in the central town (approx. 4 minutes from the fire station). A Class B driving license is required, and you must have the opportunity to obtain a Class C driving license during employment.

Experience from emergency services or healthcare is meritorious. You must undergo a medical examination. The Fire and Rescue Service strives for diversity among our employees, both in terms of gender and ethnic and cultural background.
