Swimming Instructors for Actic X

We are now looking for pedagogical and positive swimming instructors for our swimming schools at Actic Simhallsbadet in Halmstad.

Working hours: Mainly early evenings and weekends.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and conduct swimming classes

• Follow up and maintain contact with parents

• Spread joy and energy to the children and help them feel comfortable in the group and in the water

• Work closely with other swimming instructors and the team at the facility to create the best possible customer experience

Our focus and goal with our swimming activities is to teach children good water habits, provide the building blocks to become a competent swimmer, and feel safe in the water. We then gradually progress to ensure a good start in swimming and technique in the various strokes. We want the children to look forward to their next swimming session, and therefore our guiding principles are: Playfulness and joy in moving in water!

To succeed in this role

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must be comfortable in the water and have good swimming skills

• Must be available to work afternoons/weekends

• Previous experience working with children is an advantage

• Being a certified swimming instructor is a plus

Before employment, a swimming test will be conducted, and we will ask the final candidate to provide a criminal record extract.
