The Urology and Surgery Department is looking for more colleagues!

If you are interested in urology and surgery and are looking for a challenging, rewarding, and secure job in a team with high competence and experience, you will thrive here. We have recently expanded the number of care beds and need more colleagues to meet our goal of staffing support functions, such as competency support in each professional category, and to better meet educational needs and schedule requirements.

The work is varied and consists mainly of emergency admissions for surgical and urological diagnoses, as well as some planned care for urological patients. Some of our patients with cancer diagnoses have the opportunity for direct admission, so-called open return. We work with development and continuous improvements to offer the best care for our patients and to create an inspiring work environment for our employees.

About the job

The department's working method aims to create conditions for value-creating, evidence-based, person-centered, and safe high-quality care, carried out in secure teams. In your role as a nursing assistant on our department, you will work in a learning environment together with competent colleagues, sometimes at a fast pace. Your tasks include, in consultation with the patient and together with the nurse, carrying out nursing and health care interventions, participating in rounds, preparing patients for e.g., surgeries/examinations, and providing post-procedure care. Here, you are an important part of the team around the patient, consisting of nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation staff.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

A certified nursing assistant education is a requirement for the position. If you have a few years of work experience from inpatient care, it is an advantage.
