SICK is now looking for an Account Manager / Regional Sales Representative for the Stockholm/Södermanland/Östergötland region, based in Stockholm.
About the role
As a Regional Sales Representative / Account Manager at SICK, you are responsible for developing the business within your district, which covers Stockholm, Södermanland, and Östergötland. You will take over an established district with an existing customer base, while also having great potential to acquire new customers and further develop the business.
This role is ideal for you if you want to work closely with industrial customers and thrive on a combination of long-term customer relationships, technical consulting, and proactive sales. You are responsible for the entire sales process – from prospecting and customer visits to needs analysis, quotation, closing the deal, and follow-up.
You will primarily work with customers in industry, manufacturing, automation, and logistics. The district includes both well-established customer relationships and areas with significant untapped potential. To succeed in this role, you need a clear drive to be out in the field, identify business opportunities, and create value in every customer interaction.
You have strong internal support in the form of technical support, Customer Care, product specialists, and experienced colleagues. You don’t need to know everything from the start, but you do need technical curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to leverage the right internal resources to create the best solution for the customer.
You report to Mathias Löfholm, Sales Team Lead.
About you
We are looking for you who are a proactive, structured, and business-driven salesperson with a strong desire to be out in the field with customers. You enjoy building long-term relationships, but are also driven by finding new business opportunities and developing a district over time.
You thrive in a role where you plan your own day, drive your customer conversations forward, and take responsibility for both activity and results. To succeed, you need good structure in your work, be diligent with follow-ups, and view CRM as a natural tool to prioritize the right customers and business opportunities.
We believe you have experience in technical sales targeting industry, automation, logistics, manufacturing, or related areas. The most important thing is that you have a genuine technical interest, are curious about the customer's applications, and have the ability to translate needs into solutions.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- Experience in technical sales targeting industry, logistics, or related industries
- Experience working in a field-oriented role with regular customer visits
- Ability to develop both existing customers and new business opportunities
- A structured and independent working style
- Good habits in planning, prioritizing, and following up on your sales work
- Digital proficiency and experience with CRM systems with good structure
- Technical curiosity and interest in industrial solutions
- Professional communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in sales within automation, sensor technology, electrical, machinery, manufacturing, OEM, logistics, or industrial components
- Experience with both product sales and more advisory/system-oriented sales
- Technical post-secondary education, preferably in electrical, automation, engineering, or similar
- Previous sales training
As a person, you are self-motivated, curious, and humble. You have a high activity level, like being close to the customer, and have the ability to build trust in technical conversations. You are also unpretentious and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, technical specialists, and internal support functions to find the right solution for the customer.
