Sales Manager, Charcuterie

Are you ready to take on the responsibility and role of Sales Manager for our Charcuterie Department (packaged fresh goods)? As Sales Manager, you will drive and develop the department's assortment and profitability forward, together with your team. You are also responsible for your team's development and ensuring a world-class customer experience in your department.

About the role

As Sales Manager Charcuterie, you are responsible for sales and results in the department. Our store is constantly evolving, and as a leader, you are expected to be proactive and willing to set new, higher goals continuously. You are responsible for quality and customer service in the department, as well as coaching and developing your team.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure daily operations for a well-stocked and fronted department.
• Drive and develop the department towards budget targets.
• Lead, coach, and inspire employees towards set goals.
• Responsible for assortment, pricing, display, and economics in your department.
• Plan and execute campaigns and events.
• Monitor and develop customer service levels within the team – you should aspire to deliver world-class customer service.

Who are you?

You are structured and appreciate order and tidiness, as you will be working in a large fresh food department where this is crucial. You are clear in your communication, spread positive energy, and serve as a role model on the floor. You dare to set high demands on yourself and your team regarding customer service. Naturally, you are food-interested and follow trends and news to inspire your customers with taste experiences and recipes.

To be considered for the role of Sales Manager, you need:

• At least 1–2 years of experience in retail/grocery, preferably in charcuterie or delicatessen.
• Experience in coaching and leading teams.
• Good knowledge of store economics; sales, shrinkage, margins, etc.
• Experience with assortment work and display.
• Preference given to those who have completed some form of Store Manager training.

ICA Kvantum Vallentuna is located right in the middle of Vallentuna Centrum, north of Stockholm. The store has a strong focus on our fresh food departments. We are a dynamic team of approximately 75 employees serving our customers every day of the week with working hours between 06:00 – 22:10. Our ambition is to simplify our customers' daily lives by offering a good, cost-effective, and wide assortment of high quality.

Employment: Full-time, 6-month probation period. Work every other weekend is included. Salary according to agreement. Start date: October 1st or by agreement. Application deadline: 2026-09-30
