We want more nurses in Urology/Surgery!

If you are interested in urology and surgery and are looking for a challenging, joyful, and secure work environment within a highly competent and experienced team, you will thrive here. We have recently expanded our number of beds and need more colleagues to meet our goals. These goals include providing support functions such as competence support in every professional category, as well as better meeting educational needs and schedule requirements.

The work is varied and consists mainly of emergency admissions for surgical and urological diagnoses, as well as planned care for urological patients to some extent. Some of our cancer patients have the opportunity for direct admission, so-called open return. We work with development and continuous improvements to offer the best care for our patients and create an stimulating work environment for our staff. As a nurse, you work independently in close collaboration with our nursing assistants.

The aim of the department's working method is to create conditions together for value-creating, evidence-based, person-centered, and safe high-quality care, carried out in secure teams.

We are looking for

We are now looking for more creative, kind-hearted, skilled, and considerate nurses who enjoy working in a learning and inspiring environment together with experienced and competent colleagues. As a person, we see that you are responsible, clear, and structured, and have a desire to develop yourself and the operations. You have a professional attitude and the ability to motivate the patient to be a clear co-actor in their treatment. For us, it is important to learn from each other and to involve everyone in the work around the patient. You are keen on having a good work environment on the ward and you participate actively in this work. We want you to feel that you make a difference every day.

Qualifications

A completed nursing degree and license are required for the position. If you have a few years of work experience in inpatient care and/or urological/surgical care, it is an advantage.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. We recommend this during the first year of your employment with us. The Clinical Foundation Year includes introduction days, supervision and education days, as well as observation days. The purpose of the Clinical Foundation Year is to create good conditions for newly graduated nurses to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and practice skills, as well as grow into their new profession.

In the event of recruiting nurses with foreign licenses/specialist certificates, the current position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish license/specialist certificate.
