We are currently looking for a licensed psychologist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (80%). Here, you will have the opportunity to work with variety, close to patients, and in strong collaboration with colleagues within primary care.

Who we are

Region Uppsala has 1,800 employees working with close care and health in the county. We offer a wide range of services within primary care, habilitation, and telephone advice via 1177. Education, research, and development are central to us, and we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. Today, we already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Örsundsbro Health Centre is a small health centre with great individual opportunities. We are located in fine premises in beautiful countryside between Uppsala and Enköping, with parking right outside the door. Here, all professions work closely together to provide the best care. We are 22 employees who together value a good and stimulating work environment.

Your role

You will work independently with mental health issues in adults (from 18 years) within the treatment area that does not require psychiatric resources. The work involves psychological counseling, diagnostics, and treatment, both individually and in groups. You will be part of a close collaboration with the psychosocial team (psychologist and social worker) as well as other professional categories at the health centre.

At our health centre, we work with triage, meaning you will perform the initial assessment and be responsible for the treatment of patients with depression, anxiety, sleep problems, eating disorders, and stress at the primary care level. Your consultation to colleagues within primary care is an important part of the role, and supervision duties may occur.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with good knowledge of diagnostics and evidence-based treatment methods. Previous experience from primary care and a CBT focus are meritorious.

As a person, you are clear in your communication and structured in your working methods. You have good pedagogical skills and easily establish contact with both patients and colleagues. The work requires an interest in teamwork, good collaboration skills, but also the ability to work independently. You have the willingness and ability to develop the operations and a genuine interest in primary care work.
