Job Responsibilities
The Violence and Threat Team currently consists of one case handler and five social secretaries. The team's mission is to investigate the support and protection needs of adults exposed to violence, as well as the support needs of perpetrators of violence. The exercise of authority takes place exclusively within the framework of the Social Services Act (SoL). The work also includes practical tasks associated with the team's emergency housing units.
We work with the new approach "Safe Homes Without Violence", which implies close cooperation with the police, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, and Region Värmland to reach out and offer support to both perpetrators and victims of violence.
If you start working with us, we offer continuous opportunities for competence development in the area, as well as external supervision. It is an engaged work group and unit in constant change where we are constantly learning new things and developing together.
For you as a new employee, we offer a mentor who helps you get into the work and daily routines. The unit has case handlers whose main task is to supervise and guide you in your daily work. We have a well-functioning structure both at the unit level and at the Family Division. All new employees receive a thorough introductory education aimed at increasing both your competence and understanding of the organization you work in. In addition, you will get to know a great group of people to laugh and work with.
Interviews for the position will be held after the holiday season.
We welcome your application!
