About the Role

We are looking for a personal assistant for a 6-year-old boy with, among other things, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. The role requires you to be constantly active and creative with him. He is very energetic and needs stimulation both indoors and outdoors. The job involves days filled with laughter and play, but also moments where your role is to prevent and manage frustrations and challenging situations. Therefore, it is important to always be attentive to his well-being and adaptable to different environments. Assisting with interpreting, explaining, and mediating the surroundings is of great importance.

This position also includes supporting him with daily chores, which involves helping with all household tasks. The role includes supporting and helping with meals, showering, diaper changes, personal hygiene, communication, etc. It is important to note that our client is sensitive to infections and has cold-induced asthma.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Low-Affective Interaction (TAAK)
• Experience with Autism and ADHD

Previous experience working with autism and challenging behavior is a merit. A requirement is that you have the ability to read situations and the client's well-being and act accordingly. You need to be in good health as he is active around the clock. As a person, you are calm, stable, and self-assured.

Working Hours and Other Details

Working hours are varied, and shifts are scheduled for days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends according to a rolling schedule. Smoking is not permitted during working hours at this workplace. Since a dog may be present in the work environment, it is important that you are not allergic to fur animals. It is also important to avoid using strong scents.
