At Bonzi, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant part-time (50%) for our female client in Spånga/Bromsten. We are also looking for you who want to work as a substitute assistant when needed. As a substitute, you work when regular assistants are absent, for example during vacation or other leave, usually with short notice.
As a personal assistant, you are an important support in the client's daily life. Your workplace is where the client is, and the work is characterized by presence, attentiveness, and collaboration.
The client is looking for female assistants only.
About the client: The client is a woman in her 20s with autism. She has a great interest in music and books and needs support to make daily life function in a safe and meaningful way. The client is extroverted, which means you need to be attentive, able to read situations, and stay one step ahead to create safety and structure.
The work takes place in double assistance, so it is important that you are a team player who collaborates well with colleagues.
Tasks:
- Help with daily routines such as household chores.
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.
- Your workplace is where the client is.
- Accompany on activities.
The position involves varying shifts on weekdays and weekends, including sleeping on-call with waiting time.
- 06:30–15:00
- 11:30–16:00
- 15:00–23:00
- 19:00–08:25 (waiting time 7.58 hours)

You are empathetic, secure, and socially attuned, with a respectful and professional approach. You have a high degree of personal maturity, which means you are self-aware, take responsibility for your work, and act with good judgment even in challenging situations.
You are solution-focused, proactive, and reliable, and have the ability to create trusting relationships. With patience and a calm approach, you can handle challenges and contribute to a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Experience with autism.
- Professional experience working as a personal assistant or within care and social services.
- Good physical condition.
- Speak one of these languages: Serbian-Croatian, Croatian, Macedonian, Bosnian.
- Not allergic to fur-bearing animals (a cat lives in the home).
Scope: 1 part-time position (50%). 2 substitute positions as needed.
Start date: Immediately. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.
Things to consider before applying:
A prerequisite for starting employment at Bonzi is that you can present a valid ID and submit a certificate of registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.
To work as a personal assistant, guide, or substitute for us, you must be at least 18 years old. The age requirement follows the rules on personal assistance, guidance, and substitution in the LSS Act and the Social Services Act.
To work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extracts are ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so order well in advance.
