Job Responsibilities

We operate from premises in central Älmhult and provide services in the homes of care recipients in Älmhult Municipality. We are a home care team that drives a company car, serving both residential areas and the countryside.

The Central Home Care Group 2 is a team that takes responsibility, is ambitious, meticulous, and enjoys their work.

Your duties include providing personal care and services. Personal care should meet physical, psychological, and social needs, as well as assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal support. Service-oriented tasks include cleaning, laundry, shopping, and delivery of meal services.

You will also perform delegated tasks related to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

Working in Home Care largely involves independent work, but it also requires good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other professionals. We have a wonderful sense of community where we strengthen and motivate each other, and together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a valuable everyday life for our elderly.

The shift pattern includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a care assistant (undersköterska) with a protected professional title, as fixed care contact is part of the job. You should be interested in acquiring the knowledge required to be delegated tasks under the Health and Medical Services Act.

Our duties include daily use of various operational systems and documentation. This means you need to have good computer skills and be open to the various digital systems we use in our operations. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

You should have a genuine interest in working with people, the ability to see the big picture, and at the same time recognize the conditions and needs of each individual. You are responsible and flexible, able to plan and organize your work. We also expect you to have a professional attitude and the ability to build trust and establish good relationships with care recipients and their relatives. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Previous experience from healthcare and elderly care is an advantage.
