We are currently looking for a Medical Advisor for the Customer Choice Unit. The Customer Choice Unit is responsible for monitoring, steering, and developing healthcare choices as well as contractual relationships with healthcare providers. To strengthen the unit's prerequisites and maintain high quality, patient safety, and medical relevance, we are now strengthening the operations with a Medical Advisor. The role involves adding medical expertise and conducting independent assessments to support the unit's mission.

Job Responsibilities
As a Medical Advisor with us, you contribute medical expertise and conduct independent assessments in areas concerning quality, patient safety, medical practice, and healthcare content. The role is advisory and serves as a support to the business manager and employees in matters where medical competence is required.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting medical assessments, analyses, and risk evaluations related to quality and patient safety.
- Participating in the monitoring and review of healthcare providers from a medical perspective.
- Providing medical support and expertise in the development and revision of task specifications, regulations, and guidelines, as well as participating in operational dialogues.
- Processing referrals and other medical cases, and producing medical background materials to support decisions, prioritizations, and operational development.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with several years of clinical experience and good knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system, preferably primary care and healthcare choices. You have experience in quality and patient safety work, as well as good analytical skills and the ability to make independent medical assessments. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have the ability to translate medical knowledge into clear background materials and recommendations.
It is meritorious if you have specialist competence, preferably in general medicine, as well as experience in medical leadership responsibility or advisory roles. Experience in monitoring, review, or supervisory work, as well as work within healthcare choices or other publicly funded healthcare, is also seen as an advantage.
