Job Description
The position of Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) has existed in Växjö Municipality since 2021, and now we are taking the next step in development, expanding from one MAR to two. We are looking for you who want to help shape the future municipal primary care as the Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), in an engaged context together with the existing MAR and experienced colleagues.
The position is located at the Quality and Follow-up Department, whose main task is to support the board and administrative director's mandate to ensure that the operations are given the conditions and resources to fulfill their mission and comply with current regulations, based on existing legislation. The department's tasks mainly include cross-administrative operational planning, processes & reporting, quality and operational follow-up, private providers, patient safety work, and board administration.
As MAR, you have, together with the Responsible Nurse (MAS) and the Director of Health and Medical Care according to the Health and Medical Services Act, an overall responsibility for quality and patient safety within municipal primary care. In collaboration with others, you participate in operational development and quality assurance of the administration's processes, drawing up routines and guidelines, materials for self-control in health and medical care work, interim and annual reports, as well as the annual patient safety report and plan for patient safety within the framework of the quality management system.
With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference both for patients and for the development of the municipality's primary care.
To monitor the quality of our operations, you perform operational reviews in collaboration with the MAS and the Socially Responsible Coordinator (SAS) based on legal requirements and propose improvement measures based on identified deficiencies, changed legislation, and new conditions. You are also responsible for deviation management, investigations, and the reporting obligation according to Lex Maria.
You are an advisory and supportive function to managers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists/physiotherapists in the operation and assist in working groups, training, and introduction. Furthermore, you collaborate with other healthcare providers and participate in various types of networks. The role of MAR faces an exciting future with new legislation on the horizon, where the transition to good and close care is already an important part of the work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist with many years of experience from municipal primary care and other areas within health and medical care. Completed development programs for responsible persons and operational managers with a focus on health and medical care law as well as leadership and/or education in medical law are meritorious. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations and the ability to implement it in practice, and if you also have knowledge of health and medical care agreements and other agreements, this is meritorious. Since the role involves visits to our units, you are required to have a category B driver's license. Previous experience from municipal primary care is meritorious.
You should have experience and competence in the areas of follow-up and investigation with good administrative skills, where you find it easy to communicate both verbally and in writing. Good computer skills are important. Experience from working in a politically governed organization is meritorious.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, which include good organizational skills, flexibility, and responsibility. You have an easy time engaging people and creating consensus and participation in change processes. You have knowledge and understanding of what contributes to good quality for those the operation is intended for. You work systematically, look up, and see issues from a holistic perspective. Furthermore, you see, through your analytical ability and your quality-conscious approach, the need for improvement in the operation. You have good administrative skills and are structured, which means that you plan, organize, and prioritize in an effective way.
A strong ability is that you can collaborate with other people in different constellations and relate to them in a listening and smooth way.
You are a team player in a team with different professions that support each other where a common responsibility is taken for the department's various issues.
