Humana Södra Järnvägsgatan is a modern and secure nursing home in Växjö. The facility consists of 54 cozy apartments, divided into 3 floors and 6 units. Each unit has a shared kitchen with bright dining areas for pleasant meals and living rooms that invite to socializing.

Job Description
The position is divided between actively working as an Occupational Therapist and administrative leadership. You will be the Group Manager for the HSL organization. The purpose of the Group Manager is to ensure close leadership for nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The role involves leading the daily work, guaranteeing high care quality according to current legislation, and driving business development in accordance with the organization's concepts and working methods. You are a role model who leads by your own actions and creates a work climate characterized by the Humana spirit: engagement, responsibility, and joy.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work based on the individual's wishes and needs to best promote a healthy daily life. In this role, you will help maintain and develop the individual's physical, cognitive, and social abilities. You will supervise nursing staff in tasks within the profession, handle documentation and deviations, and in some cases be responsible for some activities for our elderly residents.
Close Leadership: You have personnel and planning responsibility for your group. Your focus is to support, give feedback, and ensure quality of the operations according to Humana's methods.
Development: You are part of the local management team and report to the Operations Manager. Here you get to influence the future of the residence.
Working Hours: Daytime hours.
Examples of tasks:
- Personnel and planning responsibility for the HSL group.
- Support, give feedback, and ensure quality according to Humana's methods.
- Participate in the local management team and report to the Operations Manager.
- Supervise nursing staff in tasks within the profession.
- Risk and functional assessments and follow-up.
- Fitting and prescribing of assistive devices.
- Participate in team meetings and care planning.
- Risk assessments related to the work environment.
- Map residents' wishes and needs for activities.
- Plan and participate in some activities together with the activity coordinator.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working in elderly care where you daily contribute to creating a meaningful life for our elderly residents. You are a service-oriented and creative person who easily builds relationships and has good collaboration skills. As a leader, you are secure, unpretentious, and have a natural ability to motivate others. For the role, it is required that you are a licensed Occupational Therapist.
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden.
We are looking for you who:
- Are educated and licensed as an Occupational Therapist.
- Have knowledge of documenting in medical record systems (ICF or VIPS).
- Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Are clear in your communication and create participation in the team.
- Have a coaching approach and are sensitive to the needs of both residents and employees.
- Are solution-oriented and take responsibility for both quality and economic frameworks.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in elderly care.
- Experience in managerial roles or leadership.
- Leadership training.
- Experience working with people with dementia.
Employment Type: Permanent, we apply a six-month probationary period.
Working Hours and Degree: Daytime Monday to Friday, 100%.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting, other benefits according to collective agreement.
Start Date: According to agreement.
