JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to our centrally located orthodontic clinic, a well-functioning and pleasant workplace where collaboration is in focus! We are a close-knit team working here – five orthodontists, five orthodontic assistants, one ST-dentist, and 9 dental nurses. We are a referral source for general dentistry and treat patients with more complex malocclusions. The work is varied and developmental; you will work both independently and in a team, treating children, adolescents, and young adults. Administrative tasks are also included in this role.

For those who wish to develop further, there may be opportunities to train as an orthodontic assistant in the future. This is a paid further education with maintained salary, where after completing the education you will work more independently and have your own patients in close collaboration with an orthodontist.

Your main workplace is in Växjö, but the orthodontic clinic is located in both Växjö and Ljungby; work assignments may also occur in Ljungby.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a dental nurse. Perhaps you are curious about orthodontics and want to learn more, or you already have some experience in your bag. Regardless, the most important thing for us is that you have the desire to develop together with us. You enjoy working with children and adolescents and meet both patients and colleagues with warmth, curiosity, and respect. You thrive when you get to collaborate, but you also feel comfortable taking own responsibility when needed.

This is a permanent position, but an initial probationary period of 6 months may be relevant.
