At Renova, we are in the midst of an exciting modernization journey where we are developing our data platforms, strengthening our master data work, and building modern decision support for the business. We are now looking for a Systems Specialist Data, BI & Integration who wants to make a difference – both for the business and for West Sweden's environmental work.

What you will be part of
As a Systems Specialist Data, BI & Integration, you will become part of IT Delivery, a business-close unit within the IT department. Here you will encounter short decision paths, high competence, and a culture characterized by collaboration and lack of hierarchy. You will join a team of approximately ten systems specialists and take on a central role in connecting business systems, data, and integrations. You will collaborate closely with, among others, the data platform manager, master data manager, architects, and external suppliers. This is a long-awaited recruitment and a role that will have significant importance for Renova's continued digitalization and modernization.

Job Description
Renova is facing a comprehensive technology shift as we move from older database-based solutions to modern platforms. You will have an application-close role and focus on how data is used, structured, and flows. You will become the link between the systems and the underlying information, helping to create the future data landscape.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze, document, and further develop SQL-based logic in our business systems, as well as understand how data connects across different sources.
• Maintain existing reports and develop modern dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.
• Develop and maintain data flows, integrations, and data warehouses (ETL processes and information flows).
• Contribute to modernizing older data structures as we move towards modern working methods.
• Support work with Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, and common data structures.
• Troubleshoot and document database-based system flows, batch jobs, and integrations.

As part of Renova's continued modernization, you will also have the opportunity to broaden your competence within the Microsoft Power Platform and how it can be used to streamline processes and create additional business value.

Your Background
You have a genuine interest in data and are motivated by modernizing and improving existing solutions. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You collaborate easily and can communicate technical issues clearly to both the business and IT.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Data modeling, data structures, and report development
• Power BI
• Analyzing and further developing existing data and reporting solutions
• Working in a business-close IT role as the bridge between systems, data, and the business
• Data warehouses and ETL flows (e.g., SSIS or Azure Data Factory)
• Relevant post-secondary IT education or equivalent experience

It is meritorious if you have experience in:

• Master Data Management (MDM)
• ERP systems, e.g., IFS
• API-based integrations
• Oracle environments and PL/SQL (or an interest in developing within this area)
• Microsoft Fabric

As we move towards more modern working methods, we assume you have experience with, or a strong interest in, version control in Git and DevOps. It is a bonus if you also have experience with scripting or automation using, for example, Python or PowerShell.
