Job Description

We at AFRY Automotive in Trollhättan are looking for a developer with an interest in electronic control systems, embedded software, dynamic simulation, and integration. Is this you? Then here is an opportunity!

We are looking for you who are a team player and have a background in system development. In your assignment with our customer, you will develop, design, test, and document embedded software in control systems. There is also a need to perform supporting tasks within the following areas:

• Product Development: Development of software and functionality for control systems.
• Product Support: Track trends and identify improvements, fault investigations, and problem-solving, investigating events with a focus on the control system.
• Demonstrator/Technology Development: Within the field of control system technology.
• System Development: Work with SIL / MIL / HIL for fault investigation and system development.

You are expected, like the rest of the team, to contribute to a good working climate by being helpful, sharing knowledge and experiences, and being open and proactive towards continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in mechatronics, technical physics, or another relevant engineering field.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent ability to collaborate and network.
• Experience and knowledge from agile methods are meritorious.
• Interest and experience in programming languages such as C++ and Python are meritorious.
• As a person, you have a genuine interest in system development and can combine practical with theoretical knowledge.
• You have the ability to understand how the hardware is practically used in relation to design, failure modes, design intent, etc.
• You are comfortable taking significant individual responsibility as well as being part of a team.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship and a passed background check.
