Snösätraskolan

Snösätraskolan is our lovely F-6 school located in pleasant, nature-surrounded surroundings on Snösätrahöjden in Rågsved. The school has approximately 240 students and a operations that includes an LSU group (students with special needs), after-school care, and a newly started after-school club this autumn.

Job Description

Snösätraskolan is looking for a dedicated and competent special needs teacher who wants to be an active part of our development.

You will be part of the school's student health team and contribute to developing the systematic and efficient processes regarding students in need of special support, as well as participating in the preventive and health-promoting work at the school.

You plan, implement, and follow up on interventions in teaching to promote students' knowledge development. You work both individually and in groups with students in need of special support and to develop accessibility in the learning environment.

You provide guidance and support to colleagues in the pedagogical work. You write assessments, investigations regarding special support, and action plans, as well as following up on interventions and documentation.

You have an interest in and knowledge of early reading and writing development and mathematical development.

The work involves many contact areas with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • have a teaching license for lower grades of primary school.
  • have a degree as a special needs teacher or special educator.
  • have experience writing investigations of students' need for special support and action plans.
  • are flexible and solution-focused with good collaboration skills and contribute responsibly to development in collegial learning.
  • are engaged and bring enthusiasm, energy, and joy to the work.
  • are structured and systematic.
  • are proactive, solution-focused, and apply your knowledge practically and concretely.
  • are sensitive and curious about the students' voice and perspective, and believe that students do right if they can.
  • lead colleagues with sensitivity and curiosity.
  • master Swedish very well in both speech and writing, as required in the work.
  • have qualifications in Swedish as a second language and mathematics for lower grades of primary school.
  • have experience teaching in lower grades of primary school.
  • have experience in language-developing teaching.

Meritorious qualifications

  • experience in adapted primary school.
