ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our child client in Härnösand. We are currently offering 4 permanent positions at 50-75%.

The working hours are as follows:

  • 13:00–08:00 (waiting time 7 hours) weekdays

  • 08:00–08:00 (waiting time 7 hours) weekends/holidays

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a lively 7-year-old boy with a great interest in outdoor activities, such as snowmobiling in winter, cycling in summer, playing, and swimming at the indoor pool. Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, autism, and a moderate intellectual disability.

The duties include:

  • Heavy transfers/lifting, hygiene, dressing and undressing

  • Playing

The client uses a shower chair, electric wheelchair, and manual wheelchair.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

  • Driver's license and own car

  • Non-smoker

  • Ability to handle scratches and ability to swim

  • Ability to lift heavy objects

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enjoyment of outdoor life

  • Experience with visual supports

Employment level: 4 positions at 50–75%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
