ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant as a temp replacement as needed for our client in Sundsvall.

The working hours are as follows:

  • 08:00-17:00

  • 13:00-22:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a young woman in her 20s who enjoys playing games on her mobile and Wii, watching TV/movies, and playing board games. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has spastic diplegia, which means she has relatively severe spasticity in her legs. The client is also deaf but has a cochlear implant (CI).

The tasks include:

  • Support in daily routines, such as household chores.

  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.

The client uses sign language in her communication.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's license and access to a car

  • Non-smoker

MERITS

  • Experience in personal assistance/other care work

  • Experience with spastic diplegia

Employment level: Temp replacement as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be made in good time.
