ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Sundsvall. Currently, we offer:

• 2 permanent positions at 70% each
• 2 hourly temporary positions

Working hours are weekdays and weekends according to the following schedule:

• 10:00 AM - 5:45 PM

The start date is August 1, 2026. We would appreciate it if you could start your introduction by mid-August.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 53-year-old woman who lives in her own apartment with her cat. She enjoys going out for small daily activities and visits the church occasionally. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has a brain tumor and a brain infarction. Her goal is to start regular exercise to maintain and strengthen her functions, where you as an assistant will be an important support and motivational factor.

The tasks include:

• Support with daily routines, such as household chores.
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.
• Help getting out daily.
• Motivate and support during exercise.
• Help the client take care of her cat.

The client uses a shower chair, manual wheelchair, catheter, and a walking frame.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for women and men who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be calm, secure, and able to motivate and cheer up our client for exercise. We do not require you to share the client's faith, as long as your own worldview or faith does not prevent you from being in church environments. Personal suitability is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Ability to tolerate cats
• Ability to be present in church environments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or other care experience
• Care education or equivalent

Employment level: 2 permanent positions at 70% + 2 hourly temporary positions as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate from the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
