I am a man living in Köpmanholmen, 2.5 miles south of Örnsköldsvik, and I am looking for more assistants for a permanent position.

I enjoy coming up with things to do and being where the action is. I have a good sense of humor and I like music, animals, theater, sports, walks, live events, as well as visiting friends and family.

If you do not live nearby, you will need a car to commute to and from Köpmanholmen.

The position will be filled starting August 1st, so do not wait with your application. The position is 60% plus on-call/night rest time. There is an opportunity for more hours in case another assistant is on leave or sick.

About me:

I have personal assistance seven days a week, around the clock. At my place, you work days, weekends, evenings, and nights with on-call duties and compensation according to a rolling schedule. I need help with all basic needs, household chores, and anything that may arise in my daily life. The assignment starts in May.

What qualities am I looking for?

Your job is a service profession that places high demands on personal qualities rather than formal education. You should have a sense of responsibility, empathy, the ability to put yourself in others' shoes, and initiative. You must be patient and have great respect for personal integrity, both regarding me and my surroundings. You should have good physical fitness as you will need to help me with transfers to and from the wheelchair, dressing and undressing, as well as other aspects of my personal hygiene. Experience in personal assistance is an advantage.
