About the Workplace

Located at the bottom of Stortorget, above the former Svea bakery (now Vasa Konditori), Stortorgspraktiken has been operating for approximately 60 years! The clinic has been fully renovated and modernized since the turn of the year 2022/23, just like the building itself. It consists of six treatment rooms, an OPG/CBCT room, a central sterilization unit, a lab/storage room, a reception, a staff room, two changing rooms, as well as staff and patient bathrooms/WC. We have a bright, calm, and welcoming environment with good ventilation, cooling, and excellent sound insulation between rooms and from the outside. We receive daily compliments from our patients about our premises. We are also very pleased with the result, which feels especially rewarding given the effort we have put into making it great.

We strive to work with a high degree of delegation while delivering high quality and service to our patients. This requires, among other things, good teamwork skills, communication skills, and a professional attitude.

Job Responsibilities

Together with your dental nurse colleagues, you will be responsible for sterilization, reception, scheduling/reminders, orders, etc. You will work extensively with assistance and examination shifts, or, depending on your competence and ambition, with your own patients. We often work across multiple rooms, which means you will receive the patient, prepare as much as possible, and in most cases conclude the visit with scheduling, payment, and similar tasks.

We offer a wide range of treatments. In addition to general dentistry, we also provide implant treatments and orthodontics.

Working hours are 07:30–16:00 Monday–Thursday and 07:30–13:30 on Fridays.

Qualifications

You must be a qualified dental nurse. Experience, additional education (e.g., as an orthopedic or operating room nurse), or other specialist experience can be advantageous, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and are a true team player. You must be fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken, and have very good computer skills. We use the Frenda medical record system. Hygiene, sterilization work, structure, and order are values you cherish in your profession.

Other Information

Part-time work may be discussed initially, but the position will be full-time (100%) going forward.
