About the position

We are now looking for a Unit Manager for the Land and Environmental Law Unit. The unit consists of experienced lawyers who primarily work with advice, support, and development for Svenska Kraftnät's investment and expansion projects. The main areas of work are land and environmental law as well as the application of relevant parts of the Electricity Act. The unit consists of lawyers who work independently, and the manager's task is to support and create conditions for the employees and our deliveries. The agency is characterized by a high rate of change with new assignments and a rapidly growing operation. To solve the unit's assignments, the manager, together with the employees, needs to challenge conventional ways of working and explore new opportunities.

The Legal Department consists of five units: Investment Law, Land and Environmental Law, Corporate Law, System Law, and Registry and Archives, as well as a number of positions reporting directly to the Department Head. The Legal Department is led by the Head of Legal, who reports directly to the Director General. The Unit Managers report to the Head of the Legal Department. On the Land and Environmental Law unit, just over 10 employees work, half of whom are in Gothenburg.
