In Åtvidaberg, we specialize in system integration and offer a wide range of resources and services for prototype and series production, final assembly, testing, and configuration of complete products. We also have top expertise in the manufacture of medical technology products and competence in advanced movable mechanics such as coin and paper handling.

We are now looking for a Production Engineer with interest and knowledge in programming to join a growing company with high ceilings!

Your responsibilities

As a Production Engineer, you will become a key person in Scanfil's organization as you, together with your colleagues, create the conditions for stable, competitive production. You work with maintaining and developing production setups and setting up assembly lines for new products. Questions that a production engineer faces every day include how production can be developed to create additional value for the business and its customers, and what improvements need to be made to meet current and future challenges.

You will work with various system solutions such as internal logistics setups for efficient material flows, conduct flow mapping, measure production times, and set up assembly lines. Identifying problems and implementing solutions to digitalize, standardize, and integrate production processes is also part of your work.

Who are we looking for?

In production engineering, we now work with many investments with a high degree of automation, such as AGVs, cobots, and material handling systems, and many times these need to interact with other solutions and applications. Therefore, we are looking for you who have interest and knowledge in business systems and a focus on material and production control as well as internal logistics. You see opportunities and are motivated by finding and driving improvements.

In your role, it is required that you can achieve results in collaboration with different functions such as project managers, production managers, and production staff. Therefore, we see that you have good communication skills and also need to have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

To succeed, we want you to have:

• The ability to maintain structure in your work independently, both administratively and practically, and to carry out assignments.
• Experience from the manufacturing industry and familiarity with working with standardized working methods and approaches.
• Education focused on production engineering, production economics, or education in material and production control, or equivalent work experience.
