About the Company

Our client is a well-established player in the Swedish industry with operations in several locations across the country. The company has high sustainability goals and continuously invests in energy-efficient solutions for its properties and production facilities. To strengthen its long-term energy efforts, we are now looking for an Energy Manager responsible for several facilities in Central Sweden. The role involves travel between operations in places such as Eskilstuna, Köping, Flen, Braås, Hallsberg, and Arvika.

What the Role Entails

As an Energy Manager, you are responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing energy usage in the client's properties and technical systems. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure energy-efficient solutions while meeting the company's requirements for comfort, operation, and production. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, analysis, and reporting of energy consumption.
  • Identification and handling of deviations in electricity, heating, and energy usage.
  • Optimization of heating, ventilation, and other technical systems.
  • Preparation of analyses, energy mapping, and improvement proposals.
  • Presenting action proposals and investment materials to the client and operations.
  • Implementation and coordination of smaller technical projects within, for example, HVAC, ventilation, and energy optimization.
  • Follow-up on energy goals and sustainability initiatives.
  • Documentation, reporting, and updating of technical information.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in energy, technology, and sustainable development. You thrive with an analytical approach and are motivated by finding improvement opportunities that create both economic and environmental value. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

  • Post-secondary education in energy, property, operation technology, HVAC, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with energy optimization, technical property systems, or similar areas.
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and control systems.
  • Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting energy data.
  • Good computer skills and experience with the Office package, especially Excel.
  • Experience with energy monitoring systems, property systems, or operation monitoring is meritorious.
  • Experience from industrial, property, or production environments is meritorious but not a requirement.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
