Your Role

At Saab in Karlstad, we are now looking for Electronic Engineers to join our growing development organization.

As an Electronic Engineer at Saab, you will work on exciting projects throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to testing and production. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as analog and digital electronics, FPGA programming, EMC, and much more. Our electronic systems are designed to operate under extreme conditions, and you will be part of ensuring they meet the highest requirements for robustness and reliability.

For those looking to take the next step in their career, there is an opportunity to take on the role of Team Lead, where you will lead a small development team, drive technical decisions, and contribute to developing the group's working methods and competencies.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronic Design, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• A few years of experience in electronic development.
• Experience in creating circuit boards with both analog and digital design.
• Knowledge of concepts such as VHDL, FPGA, and/or ASIC.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance procedures applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
