About the role

As Supply Chain Manager, you have operational responsibility as well as budget and result responsibility for purchasing, planning, goods receipt, and external logistics. You lead a small team with significant responsibility and are part of the management group. We are looking for an operational leader who can translate strategies into sustainable working methods with demands for the highest delivery security.

You are responsible for and actively work to develop the supplier base for both direct and indirect materials to support the company's overall goals. You coordinate and lead projects operationally in collaboration with technology, production, and planning, from test deliveries to fully implemented/agreed suppliers.

This role is a succession recruitment: you will succeed our current incumbent and receive a structured, supportive handover.

Other duties include, among others:

• Purchasing of approved investments
• Drafting and interpreting contracts in Swedish and English
• Systematic improvement work and cost efficiency
• Work based on set KPIs and target profiles
• Supplier assessments and negotiations with suppliers
• Systematically develop the planning process and work to secure the chain from order to delivery
• Develop and secure material supply to production

The position is a permanent employment at Norma Precision AB in Åmotfors, with start date by agreement.

About you

We are looking for you who are a present and secure leader in your personnel responsibility, with documented management experience including personnel and budget responsibility. You likely have experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply chain from manufacturing industry, and are accustomed to negotiation, contracts, and supplier development. Your very good knowledge of Swedish and English will come in handy.

You have a strong ability to lead cross-functional collaborations and thrive working close to production. You are proactive, business-minded, and change-oriented – while being attentive and curious about the experience and knowledge that exists within us.

Meritorious is experience from defense, ammunition, or security-classified industry, knowledge of export control/sourcing, and familiarity with Lean/ISO 9001 as well as ISO 14001 and systematic improvement work.
