Your future role as a junior structural engineer

As a junior structural engineer in building construction, you will work with design, dimensioning, and planning in assignments where precision, technical interest, and coordination are key components.

The role suits you if you want to develop within static calculations, building construction, and digital design tools. You will receive support from experienced colleagues and will gradually take on more responsibility in the assignments. The work may include calculations, modeling, technical documentation, drawings, and coordination with other disciplines.

The person we are looking for – is that you?

We are looking for you who want to develop as a structural engineer in building construction and have a strong technical foundation from your education. You thrive with construction and dimensioning issues and want to work in a consultant role where collaboration, precision, and technical understanding are central.

We are looking for you who have:

• A Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on building and civil engineering technology.
• Graduated in 2026.
• A clear interest in structural analysis, building construction, dimensioning, and design.
• Basic knowledge of relevant digital tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, IDA ICE, Abaqus, and/or Matlab.
• The possibility to work from the office in Jönköping.
• Availability to start employment in August/September 2026.
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience from thesis projects, project work, internships, or previous work related to building construction, static calculations, design, coordination, or technical calculations.

You have an interest in digital working methods and want to develop in line with new tools and technologies within construction.
