The Project Division is the internal technical consultancy group within the Community Construction Administration and is responsible for the municipality's technical and infrastructure projects. We drive and coordinate land and construction projects within, among other things, new development areas, streets and roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, water and sewage pipes, stormwater facilities, parks and other public spaces.

We are now looking for an engaged and driven project manager within land construction and water/sewage (VA) who wants to help develop Tranås Municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager, you are responsible for leading projects through the entire process – from idea and planning to completion and handover to the operations organization.

Your main tasks include:

• preparing feasibility studies, tender documents, and construction documents,
• planning, leading, and following up on projects in all project phases,
• coordinating and creating good collaborations between clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers,
• ensuring that projects are carried out according to set goals regarding quality, time, and economy.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience and competence in land and construction projects as well as the ability to drive projects from idea to finished facility.

You have either:

• post-secondary education in technology, construction, civil engineering, or
• corresponding knowledge acquired through several years of work experience in the contracting, land, or water/sewage industry.

We would like you to have worked in a leadership role, such as project manager, construction manager, site manager, or foreman, where you have been responsible for planning, coordination, and implementation of construction or water/sewage projects.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience of working within municipal operations or as a client,
• good knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act) and public procurement,
• experience of preparing tender documents and construction documents,
• experience of leading and coordinating execution contracts.

A B-driver's license is a requirement for the position.
