RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work with the development and optimization of water and wastewater processes, as well as developing biogas production and sludge issues. Your main tasks will consist of process optimization, improvement work focused on reducing energy and chemical consumption, and monitoring the purification processes and biogas production.

You will be responsible for leading development and improvement projects within the process and biogas production areas. Furthermore, you will continuously monitor operations and contribute process knowledge to reconstruction projects. You will work in close collaboration with, among others, the unit manager and operations manager.

On-call duty may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of Process Engineer, we prefer a university degree in engineering with a focus on water and wastewater (VA), chemistry, biology, process, operations, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have post-secondary education in the field of water and/or wastewater and can work as a Process Technician. The title is determined by your educational background. It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience from the water and wastewater industry or the process industry.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement for the position, and you must have proficiency in Swedish in both speech and writing. Good knowledge of English is an advantage as some manuals and other literature may be in English.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

The administration consists of the Water and Wastewater Department, Waste Department, Street Department, Project Department, Park and Cemetery Department, and Food Department. We are now looking for a new employee for the Water and Wastewater Department who will work at the water and wastewater plants where we produce drinking water and treat wastewater by maintaining high quality and safety standards.
