Hifab in Jönköping is on an exciting growth journey and is now looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who wants to help develop both the business and the team. About the role
As a Construction Project Manager at Hifab, you work in a broad consulting role where you lead and drive construction and civil engineering projects from early stages to completion. Depending on your profile, you may also work in areas such as construction management, costing, inspection, or as a responsible controller. You step into a role where there are both established assignments to take over and new projects coming in. The assignments vary and include among other things housing, offices, industry, energy, and public projects, primarily in Småland with collaboration across several Hifab offices.
You are responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of projects with a focus on quality, time, and economy, and have close dialogue with customers and other stakeholders. In the role, you are also expected to contribute actively to the business through tenders as well as by developing and using your network to create new assignments.
The team in Jönköping is a smaller, growing team where you get great opportunities to influence both business and working methods. As an experienced consultant, you also contribute to knowledge sharing and support colleagues in their development. Some assignments may be subject to security clearance.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a strong foundation in construction and project management and thrive in a consulting role with a customer focus. You are confident in your competence, take responsibility, and have a natural drive forward. You are communicative, structured, and have an easy time building trust in your relationships. You thrive in teams but are also self-reliant and take initiative.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in construction, or equivalent multi-year work experience in project management/construction management.
- Experience from contracting, construction production, or consulting activities.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Category B driver's license and car.
Some assignments are carried out in security-classified environments. Therefore, the position may require certain citizenship.
Meritorious:
- Experience in tenders and business development.
- Certification as an inspector or responsible controller according to PBL.
- Experience in costing or conducting training.
- Large local network in Jönköping and surrounding areas.
