About the role

OBOS is one of the leading housing developers in the Nordics. The member-owned organization constructs everything from villas and terraced houses to apartments, with the goal of safely realizing housing dreams in both Sweden and Norway.

We are currently looking for construction project managers who want to take on a key role within the operations. In this function, you are responsible for producing technical documentation for both standardized and unique residential projects. Based in Jönköping, Myresjö, Vrigstad, or Växjö, you will have a central role with close collaboration between production managers, production technicians, cost control, purchasing, projectors, as well as project engineers and building constructors.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with an eye for detail and strong communication skills, as the role involves B2B collaboration and multiple contact surfaces. You have experience in project design and good CAD skills. As a person, you are technically curious, driven, humble, and dare to take initiative. You are a true team player who thrives on collaborating and achieving goals together with others.

Responsibilities

The role entails overall responsibility for the final phase of the design process, with responsibility for producing quality-assured and production-adapted assembly and manufacturing documentation. Your tasks will include, for example:

• Prepare and publish production and assembly documentation
• Create material specifications in the business system for production and construction sites
• Plan the design work for assigned projects
• Develop contract-specific construction solutions for B2B projects
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and external partners
• Investigate and handle technical deviations and complaints
• Act as project leader when needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has post-secondary education in building technology or another relevant field.
• Has experience and training in CAD design/Revit.
• Possesses knowledge of BBR (Swedish Building Regulations) and current industry standards.
• Has basic knowledge of industrial timber house construction.
• Has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, which is required for internal and external collaborations.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B).

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in production preparation
• Competence in technical installations
• Experience in project management or as a project leader
