We are now looking for a driven and engaged contracting engineer

As a Contracting Engineer at Peab Byggservice in Jönköping/Höglandet, your role is incredibly important for taking projects to a new level.

At Peab Byggservice, we primarily work with ongoing operations, such as maintenance and repair work. We have several framework agreements and national customer agreements, and one of our strengths is that we operate throughout the country. Another characteristic of ours is that we often carry out work in occupied environments and in ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and customer service level.

About the role

As a contracting engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Site Manager and serve as a key link between the company and the client. You are responsible for design work on both small and large scales, preparing calculations and project plans for bids, and managing these. You handle purchases, are responsible for documentation and follow-up, and drive forward and support the Site Manager in our projects, both technically and economically.

Our contracting engineers are involved in the entire project and have contact with our customers, partners, and those working in our production. We value our relationships and expect you to have a strong sense for providing support and service.

The position is located in Jönköping or Nässjö.

Who are you?

You have a university degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, or have acquired equivalent work experience by working in the industry for several years. You have good knowledge, especially in calculation, purchasing, project economics, project law, production, and are accustomed to expressing yourself well both verbally and in writing.

The role involves working independently with several different projects simultaneously. This requires your ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, as well as your ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. The role also requires that you are good at collaborating and understand the value of good relationships, both externally and internally.

A B-driver's license and access to your own car are required. Good knowledge of calculations is highly meritorious.
