About the Position

The IT Security Officer belongs to the Intelligence and Security Department (A2) at the F 21 Staff. The Wing Staff consists of approximately eighty employees, of which about ten are located at the Intelligence and Security Department. One of A2's main tasks is security service, where the IT Security Officer, directly under the IT Security Manager, works with IT security at Luleå Garrison.

Main Responsibilities

As an IT Security Officer, you work closely with the IT Security Manager to develop and support the unit's and garrison's IT security work. The role involves both administrative and operational tasks, where analysis, planning, and work with governing documents constitute an important part of the daily work.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Support the unit's and garrison's IT security work under the leadership of the IT Security Manager.
• Work proactively with planning, analysis, and development of the IT security operations.
• Establish and follow up on governing documents, operational rules, and regulations within the IT security area.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of internal IT security controls.
• Conduct training in IT security services.
• Perform administrative tasks with high demands for accuracy and quality.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education in military security service or intelligence service.
• Relevant post-secondary education in IT security, information security, or equivalent competence acquired through experience.
• Documented experience in IT security and information security.
• Knowledge of IT security and information security.
• At least upper secondary education with passing final grades.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good computer skills.
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

Other

Employment type: Permanent, full-time. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probation period for those not already employed by the agency.
