Do you want to be part of developing Sweden's infrastructure? Geomechanics Sweden AB is now looking for an experienced Project Engineer for Roads for an exciting assignment in Gothenburg. You will be employed by Geomechanics Sweden AB and work on-site with our client, the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), in Gothenburg.

About the Assignment

As a Project Engineer, you will provide close support to the Project Manager and contribute to driving projects forward with high quality, good structure, and effective follow-up. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Supporting the Project Manager in daily project management
• Planning, follow-up, and coordination of projects
• Risk management, scheduling, and financial follow-up
• Follow-up of consultants' and contractors' deliveries
• Preparing decision support materials, reports, and presentations
• Participating in technical meetings, construction meetings, and coordination meetings
• Contact with internal and external stakeholders
• Working according to the Swedish Transport Administration's governing documents, processes, and methods

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• A university or college degree in engineering, civil engineering, construction, or equivalent
• At least five years of experience as a Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Coordinator, or similar within road or construction projects
• Experience in risk management, project planning, and financial control
• Very good administrative skills and experience working in a structured manner
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Very good Swedish language skills (both written and spoken)
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have experience with the Swedish Transport Administration's working methods and administrative systems, as well as APV certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 (or are willing to undergo certification).
